STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
We are a Christian support group of women providing doula services.
We bring with us different personalities, strengths and backgrounds. We offer these services without regard to nationality
or religious beliefs.
We are either certified or pursuing certification with DONA (Doulas of North America) and support
the DONA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
We have a strong belief in providing educational information, physical
and emotional support and Godly love to childbearing women and their families.
We believe each life begins at conception,
is uniquely created by God, and is a gift of God. We believe in the power of prayer.
It is our desire to educate the
community about doulas, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and other important family issues.
We provide back-up
services for each other, treating each others clients with the same love as we treat our own clients.
We realize and
accept our limitations as doulas. We are not medically trained and do not attempt to give medical advice or perform medical
services.
